Zaur Bakhshaliyev

Zaur Bakhshaliyev graduated from the Finance and Credit Faculty of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics majoring in General Economics in 2007. In 2010, he did masters in Business Administration at the same university. 

He has more than 15 years of experience in the internal audit. Zaur Bakhshaliyev started his career as an Assistant Auditor at Bank of Azerbaijan OJSC and was later promoted to the position of Head of the Audit Department. Then he worked for Garant Holding LLC as an intra-group auditor, and as a General Auditor for the Agrarian Procurement and Supply JSC, as well as the General Auditor and the Division Head of the Internal Audit Department for Rabitabank OJSC in the period from 2015 to 2017. From 2019 to 2024, he had been holding the position of the Head of the Risk Management Department, the Head of the Internal Control Department, and later the Director of the Internal Control and Audit Department at the Agency for Sustainable and Operational Social Security (DOST). 

Currently, he works for the ADY Express LLC being a subordinate structure of the Azerbaijan Railways CJSC, as the Head of the Internal Audit Service.
Since February 2024, Zaur Bakhshaliyev has been acting as an Independent Member of the Audit Committee of Rabitabank OJSC.
